Day 2 - September 3rd

I spent some time with Simex deciding where to place each cabinet and table in the computer room. We decided to make two rows in the middle of the space, that way we could easily get to the front and back of each cabinet for maintenance. We also decided to have the long table that would originally hold one terminal for the Visual Image Generator with a short one that was going to hold both of the engineering terminals. I think it should've been done that way on the plan, but it wasn't.

Also, there was a lot of coordination happening today between the Property Manager, the building maintenance company, a few of the sub-contractors and myself. We arranged for a welder to add a plate to the landing to support the threshold for the accessway, plumbers to fit the cold water pipes for the fan-coil unit, electricians to supply building power to various cabinets, etc.
