Day 11 - September 12th

Today SimX reworked the mounting plates and shims for the visual mirror and started getting it bolted in place. Assembly of smaller components continued and first power was applied to the Main Power Cabinet (P1) and the Visual Image Generator (IG).

The Integration Specialist began verifying that the computers load correctly and the software is in good shape.

There's still quite a few connections to be made and hardware to be set up, but it's looking more like a simulator every day.

First peek inside since it arrived
- Still some packing materials in there.

CAE is now installing these "muffler" sections of hose on the A/C to reduce the noise that gets to the flight deck

Loads of ethernet and fiber-optic connections still to be made

First power applied to the P1 cabinet happened today

IG is fired up and a disk copy is in progress
