Today was a big day. The main simulator assembly arrived this morning at about 10:00 and the visual mirror was moved to make room for the truck to back into the bay. I had to bug out at 11:00 for a volunteer opportunity I agreed to 3 months ago, so again I missed a sim being lifted off the truck and put on the jacks! Well, maybe someday. Thanks to John Sutherland for taking the pictures for me.
The installers worked quite quickly. They got the motion base all set up, mounted the catwalk/cabinet assemblies along each side and lifted the upper deck in place. They worked late, but they've got a deadline.

Nice to see John smiling! You are right, Simex is really moving fast. Wow with electric motion and LCOS projectors you guys won't have anything to do. :P
